North Lesvos: Lafiona
With love for tradition, the local Cultural Association “Saint Alexander” introduces us to Trahanas — the local superfood.
19:00 Church of Agia Paraskevi, Lafiona
Presentation of the process of making Trahanas and local sweets in a magical setting with a view of the Aegean.

Central Lesvos: Skala Kallonis
The Kallonis Tourism Development Business Association invites us to a day in the fishing village of Skala Kallonis, filled with saltiness and seafood flavors.
9:30 Skala Kallonis harbor
Morning boat trip in the Kallonis Bay, also known as the “Lake of Aristotle.” Demonstration of the salting process in collaboration with local businesses and the Kallonis Fishermen’s Association.
19:30 Skala Kallonis square
Cooking by Lesvos chef Haris Katrakazas, former cooking instructor Charilaos Theodorellis, and the Kalloni Asia Minor Association, followed by an evening music and dance event by local associations.

West Lesvos: Eresos
The Eresos Development & Promotion Agency takes us on a journey from the past to the present with music and local flavors.
Saturday 18:30 Eresos Square
In the central square of Eresos, we will watch culinary creations by our favorite gourmet Iliadis Mamalaki and the Eresos Cultural Association “Phanias,” using the famous Eresos figs.
There will be free transport from the Skala Eresos parking lot to Eresos every 20 minutes.
Sunday 19:00 Skala Eresos beach
With guitars and singing, we reminisce about nostalgic times on the beach of Skala Eresos. With watermelon and “tuloumoti” cheese… just like when things were simple and carefree.
Parallel activities:
Eresos breakfast: Designed with care, based on local products and recipes from the area. Look for it at participating businesses in Eresos throughout the festival.
Floating cooking: Cooking with local Lesvos products on the Yalos platforms by the unique chef Eleni Psychouli and the culinary journalist Ioanna Stamoulou.

South Lesvos: Gera
The “MODUSA” Cooperative introduces local products and local producers in an open-air market.

Outdoor market with tasting at the Modusa facilities in Durakhani Pappados Gera, featuring local Lesvos products (packaged and unpackaged) presented by producers.

East Lesvos: Mytilene

Central Lesvos: Agia Paraskevi
The Museum of Industrial Olive Oil Production of Lesvos, hosted by the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation, welcomes us in its outdoor space for “olive oil cooking” that combines tradition with modern culinary trends.

Live cooking by our favorite chef Alexandros Papandreou and the Agricultural Women’s Cooperative of Agia Paraskevi “Selada.” Olive oil, capirado, and seafood will take center stage, while recipes are presented in traditional clay vessels. The event will be complemented by discussions, ideas, and proposals for the next Lesvos Food Fest.

North Lesvos: Molyvos
The Molyvos Restaurant & Related Professionals Association and the Molyvos Tourism Agency organize activities for all tastes and ages.

Children’s cooking workshops
We cook “Mamalelia” (homemade pasta) and “Koulikia” (fried dough) with children aged 5–12, while raising awareness of the global issue of food waste through experiential actions by “Boroume.”
10:00–13:00 Molyvos Hammam
Herb and salt mixtures
An experiential activity at the Ottoman Hammam, where we get in touch with the herbs and salt of Lesvos soil, led by a group of graduates from the Aegean University’s Department of Cultural Technology and Communication.
20:00 Lefkoniko Square
Tasting of Aegean wines and Lesvos cheeses
Famous since antiquity, the wines and wineries of the North Aegean are presented by oenologist Nikolaeta Makryonitou, combined with cheeses and dairy products from Lesvos, with the help of the “Iliaktida” Association from Mantamados.

18:30 Private yard workshops by Molyvian housewives (see related map)
In Lesvos during the summer, housewives “fill” their homes with grape leaves to zucchini flowers. Molyvian women welcome us and teach us the techniques of stuffing an onion dolma, folding grape leaves, closing zucchini blossoms, and the secrets of stuffing octopus.

We cook fried bread with Lesvos cheeses and homemade loukoumades filled with all kinds of jams with children aged 5 and up, while raising awareness of the global issue of food waste through experiential actions by “Boroume.”

North Lesvos: Petra
The Petra Cultural Association and the Petra Merchants & Artisans Association open the yards of their homes for tempting sweet treats and invite us to a beach party.
18:30 Yards of the village (see related map)
Presentation of traditional pastry recipes by housewives of Petra, who open their yards to the public and visitors, presenting “stalta” wedding sweets and festive treats from the island.
21:00 Petra Beach (north entrance)
Don’t miss the 60s beach party “About Time” inspired by the Hollywood movie that will be filmed in Lesvos this fall. On the beach of Petra, Christos Huseas will present concept cocktails based on ouzo and local liqueurs, and we will dance to 60s rhythms! Special guest: the disruptive Rena Haralambidou, star of the film. Optional 60s attire to set the atmosphere!

North Lesvos: Molyvos

Scouting cooking at the camp by scout groups of Lesvos.
20:00 Molyvos Harbor
Ouzo Tasting and Street Food
We try a modern version of fish & vegetable chips and pair it with ouzo in hand.
21:30 Later in the evening, we enjoy music groups at the tavernas and restaurants of the harbor, nostalgically closing our ten-day journey with songs… without speakers.
