The 7th Lesvos Food Fest returns with the theme “The taste of homecoming”. Through a meaningful and outward-looking approach to its events, the festival invites both locals and visitors on a gastronomic journey of tradition and memory, highlighting the warmth and authenticity of Lesvian cuisine.
The Molyvos Tourism Association and the festival’s partners — the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation, the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest, the Petra Cultural Association, and the Molyvos Wine & Dine Association— join forces to organize a series of events from July 9 to 12, 2026.
This year’s central theme is inspired by the concept of returning home and connects the ancient idea of “nostos” with the modern values of taste and gastronomy. The festival invites us on a journey through memories, awakening the senses and the familiar comfort of grandmother’s kitchen.
The 7th Lesvos Food Fest continues to consistently develop its environmentally friendly operational model, moving beyond the elimination of single-use plastics and adopting practices suited to the digital age. By utilizing modern QR codes to inform the public, the festival promotes sustainability and actively contributes to reducing its environmental footprint.
Since 2017, Lesvos Food Fest has been a practical initiative supporting the local community, honoring the land of Lesvos and promoting its high-quality products. At the same time, it has created a dynamic network of outreach that supports the primary sector and local producers.
